Ramona Grasslands Preserve - country Family session

Chestnut colors and beautiful expansive grasslands collide in this amazing family session at the Ramona Grasslands Preserve. We are so blessed to live in the beautiful countryside of Ramona, CA that we do, and what more could we ask for in a location for photos.

The Sun was starting to set as we began our session with this beautiful family of 6. The Golden sun rays perfectly lit each shot and brought such magic to their already beaming love. The Grasslands in Ramona has so many beautiful hidden locations providing each client with multiple backdrops for that cute country chic look. One of my favorites being the tall, luscious trees that stand alone in the great big preserve. They are one of a kind, just like each family we meet!

Adventure awaits you at the Grasslands off Highland Valley, perfectly nestled in and full of grazing cows. Be prepared to do a little walking as most of the preserve is filled with trails made for hikers and even horseback. Perfect excuse to pull out those cowboy boots and your biggest smiles. Take it from this little cowgirl who completely stole the show during her session.

​The Ramona Grasslands Preserve is definitely a top photography spot for us in San Diego County. Just a short drive up the hill from Poway, CA and your greeted with beautiful sunsets further then the eyes can see and a light, airy, country style different from the usual San Diego Beaches.
